This latest photo restoration project proved quite a tricky one.

I was asked if I could 'do anything' with this photograph by a man who wanted it as a surprise for a friend, as it was the only photograph his friend had of this woman.

Unfortunately it was in a very poor state with lots of colour and definition loss, not to mention the contrasts where parts of the photograph had been exposed to different amounts of light.

After quite a few hours colour matching, correcting and rebuilding I managed to even out the picture and bring it back to life.

What's more, the resulting digital file meant the customer could print off a copy larger than the original to give to his friend.

This was one of my more difficult restoration requests but I was quite pleased with the result - and more importantly the customer was delighted!
